Accomplishments

• Assistance has been provided to 492 recovering addicts.
• $845,154 has been awarded to the non-profit homes.
• 262 grants and interest free loans totaling $219,104 have been awarded.
• 90% of all grant, loan and housing assistance recipients reported that they have remained sober and/or abstinent from their addiction. 43% of those surveyed responded to this question.
• Short-term affordable housing was provided to a total of 230 recovering addicts from 1994-2010.
• Grant to Open Door of Ellsworth, Maine to operate a satellite counseling service at the Island Medical Center in Stonington, Maine
