Anew Foundation
Welcome to the Anew Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to fostering recovery from substance abuse and other addictions in a supportive community environment.
Founded in 1993, the Anew Foundation (with its entities) was built on the belief that lasting recovery from addiction requires long-term treatment and intensive community support. After the initial period of detoxification and introduction to a clean and sober lifestyle, recovering addicts must face all the responsibilities they had been avoiding in their disease. Family life, relationships, work and money are new experiences that these people must address without the anesthetic effect of addictive substances. Without extensive support, these issues can become relapse triggers, leading to more devastating consequences for the addict, their loved ones and the community.
Anew Foundation is a private operating foundation that supports the treatment process for individuals actively striving to recover and rebuild their lives from previous drug, alcohol, and substance abuse in the greater Orlando area.
Anew Foundation provides affordable housing and offers grants and interest free loans for counseling, housing and medical expenses to those substance abusers who arrive from all parts of the world, and are motivated to change their lives.
Anew Foundation is not simply a charitable organization. Recipients receive much more than money. They benefit from a dedicated recovery community.
The Anew Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) organization providing financial support for the treatment and long-term recovery from alcohol and other substances in the Central Florida region.
